Manifesto

The Post-Software Movement: It is better to use no software than to use proprietary software. Our solution is very simple — a complete and 100% rebellion. This is a return to the very basis of the time before computers at all, while still retaining the concepts and subject matter of software and related technology. We leave software and adapt and infinite array of creative possibles by using: canvas, gouache, books, posters, quilts, flyers, electronics, brushes, markers, desktops, paper, scissors, weaving, zines, costumes, scarves, paintings, people, chairs, rooms, film, pencils, cardboard, boxes, flour, sugar, pans, voice, pens, notebooks, grids, dumpsters, stencils, gravity, etching, sticky notes, stickers, badges, whiteboards, watercolor, history, graffiti, sculpture, time, captchas, and scale. In addition; acrylic, adhesive, airbrush, aquatint, bamboo, binder, blotting, bronze, carbon, charcoal, claybord, conté, copal, crayon, crêpe paper, dip pen, drafting, dye, eraser, engraving, fixative, foamcore, frisket, glass, glitter, gold, graphite, grease, hardstone, india ink, intaglio, khutu, lithography, manila paper, mannequin, metal leaf, mezzotint, movable type, oil paint, paperboard, pastel, patina, pietra dura, plastic, porcelain, screenprinting, silverpoint, sketchbook, spray paint, stamp, tempera, tortillon, tracing paper, varnish, washi, wasli, watercolor, wood, woodcut and wood stain.
